Observation: If one believes that intelligent design as a term is meaningfully consistent as far back as before Darwin, and someone complains that Dembski dated the emergence of the term to 1987, it's contradictory to argue that the definition has "evolved." If a term is old and stable, it's not also outdated in the last twenty years.
