Dawkins Inspires Suicide
The Story of Jesse Kilgore and the Consequences of Teaching One Side of Evolution
This episode of ID the Future tells the story of Jesse Kilgore, a college student whose loss of faith and subsequent suicide has been linked to his biology class and Richard Dawkins’ The God Delusion. After his professor challenged him to read the anti-theistic book and rule out the possibility of God’s existence in light of the evidence for evolution, Jesse experienced a crisis of faith. Now his father is arguing for academic freedom for intelligent design and critiques of Darwin’s theory. Listen in as he and others explain how Jesse was affected by reading this book.
The tragedy of Jesse Kilgore’s death affects all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who knew and loved him.

I am convinced that Richard Dawkins finally realizes the bankruptcy of the Darwinian model. So does Paul Zachary Myers. What makes it impossible for them is there inability to believe, probably for congenital reasons, that there was a purpose in the origin or origins of life and its subsequent evolution. I have recently challenged Myers to a “debate” about the mechanism of organic evolution. In my opinion that is the only real question which is at stake or has ever been at stake.
If the Darwinian mystics are unwilling to defend their convictions in open discussion, then this should be widely advertized as proof of their unwillingness to pursue the great mystery of organic evolution. My friend Martin and I have been doing our level best to expose the Darwinian hoax by taking our challenges directly into the lairs of those who support it, notably Pharyngula and RichardDawkins.net forum. I ask others to do the same, especially as we approach the bicentennial of the author of the Origin of Species, a book which, in my opinion, contains not a word which supports its title.
It is a waste of time to try to reason with congenital ideologues.
The only good defense is to be as offensive as possible, to invade and ridicule the enemy, embarrass him and force him to defend his ill conceived convictions, convictions that cannot survive rational discourse. Internet forums are largely insular protectionist bastions which stifle dissent by serving as magnets for like minded “prescribed” personalities.

#397 addresses both the Darwinian myth and the equally preposterous myth that oil is a fossil fuel. It also serves as a warning that, in my opinion, the continued use of hydrocarbons as fuel is certain suicide. I realize that is quite a lot to pack into one message but they are all related topics.
